Carl Linnaeus fil.: born in 1741 in Falun, Sweden, student (without a degree) in Uppsala in 1750, the first prospector of botany in Uppsala in 1759, honorary doctor of medicine in 1765, professor of medicine and botany in survivans in 1763 and established professor in1777, dead in 1783 in Uppsala.
