Nils Conrad Kindberg: born in 1832 in Karlstad, Sweden, student in Uppsala from 1849, PhD. in 1857, senior teacher in nature science and mathematics at the upper secondary school in Linköping 1860-1910, made several bryological journeys to Norway, Switzerland and Italy, dead in 1910 in Uppsala.
